What is Paintball

A: Paintball is a fun-filled, exciting sport/game where on average, two or more teams face off against each other to compete in capturing and holding an objective to win the game. The objectives vary based on the game mode being played and include capturing flags or control points from the opposing team or team deathmatch where your team must eliminate the entire opposing team’s players to win the game. We also offer a free for all game mode where every player is for themselves.

The list is almost endless on the number of game modes at Extreme Scenario Paintball, LLC.

To eliminate an opposing team’s player, you must mark them with paint by shooting and hitting them with a paintball. Paintballs are environmentally safe, biodegrade liquid-filled non-toxic, water-soluble projectiles that usually break on impact. Paintballs are fired from a paintball marker powered by a compressed air tank set at a safe velocity of 270 F.P.S. to avoid injuring a player when hit.

Is Paintball Safe to Play

A: Paintball is one of the safest sports in the world to play. Some of the reasons why paintball is so safe to play are because of the safety gear and equipment needed to play it. All players must wear a face mask that offers full face protection, from forehead to chin, including both ears. The face mask also provides cover to the eyes with a particular lens that is made to withstand paintball impacts without breaking.

All paintball markers are also set at our field speed limit of 270 F.P.S. to ensure that paintballs are traveling at a safe speed. Even players bringing their paintball markers will have to pass a chronograph test of 270 F.P.S. to use them on our paintball field.

We also do not allow any fully automatic paintball markers on our field, and any paintball markers that shoot over 12 paintballs per second are not permitted on our field.

Does it Hurt When You Get Hit With a Paintball

A: The majority of the time, paintballs don’t hurt. However, sometimes if you are shot at close range or on bare skin, it can sting and leave a bruise. Most of the time, you will barely feel this sting because of the intense gameplay going on, and adrenaline is pumping!

Our paintball field only uses high-quality field grade paintballs that are always fresh, so it breaks on contact and doesn’t hurt. This is one of the reasons we don’t allow players to bring their own paintballs!

Tips: If it’s your first time playing paintball, we would recommend that you wear a hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and a pair of gloves just until you get used to the sport and feel more comfortable while playing.

What is the Minimum Age Requirement to Play

A: Anyone 10 and over is permitted to play at our paintball field. Please keep in mind that all spectators and players on our paintball field are required to sign a liability waiver. If there are any spectators or players under the age of 18, a parent and or guardian must also sign for them and must also sign a medical release form.

Can I Bring My Paintballs to Your Paintball Feld

A: Due to insurance regulations and safety issues, we only allow paintballs purchased from us to be used on our paintball field.

Purchasing paintballs from us can either be done at our field store or on our website. Paintballs purchased on our website can only be used at our paintball field if you select them to be dropped shipped to our store for pick-up and play the same day. Any paintballs taken off-site cannot be brought back to be used another day.

Do Paintball Splatters Come out of Clothing

A: Yes, because paintballs are an environmentally safe biodegrade liquid-filled non-toxic, water-soluble projectile. However, we would recommend that you wash your clothing as soon as possible especially light-colored clothing, as if the paint is left for long periods, it may stain.

What Should I Bring With Me to Play Paintball

A: We recommend that you print out the required waiver of liability form (All players must sign this form, and if you are under the age of 18, you must have a parent or guardian sign it as well. If you are under the age of 16, you must also bring a signed medical release form signed by a parent or guardian. All rental equipment requires a rental agreement. For more information, please check our forms page.

All of the required forms are located on our website's forms page and can be downloaded and printed, or you can fill them out at the paintball field on the day you are set to play.

We would personally recommend wearing a long sleeve shirt and pants, with gloves so that no bare skin is exposed to the elements or paintball hits and clothing suitable to the weather conditions for that day. Camouflaged clothing helps with better concealment in the terrain.

We highly recommend wearing boots that are suitable for outdoor hiking and that have good ankle support! Most of the terrain on our paintball field is hilly and rocked, so it is highly recommended that you do not wear shoes, sandals, or flip flops!

Tips: Knee and elbow pads are a plus to wear while at our paintball field! You will better protect yourself if you wear them while playing!

Can I Bring My Paintball Marker

A: Yes, you are permitted to bring your paintball marker with you. However, we currently only allow pump-action and semi-automatic .68 caliber paintball markers on our paintball field. Full-automatic paintball markers will not be permitted on our paintball field!

All personal paintball markers will be chronographed by one of our staff members, and the paintball marker must chronograph at 270 F.P.S. or less and not shoot more than 12 paintballs per second. This means electronic ramp, and burst modes, etc., are not permitted!

You must also bring with you a barrel cover. Barrel plugs are not accepted!

Can I Bring My Paintball Mask

A: Yes, as long as the paintball mask meets the following criteria:

1) The paintball mask must have full face protection, from forehead to chin, including both ears.

2) The lens must be rated for paintball usage according to ANSI Z87.1 and must not be cracked or damaged where it would hinder visibility or get compromised from a paintball hit.

3) No modifications shall be made to the paintball mask or lens that impair its ability to function as intended by the manufacturer.

Can I Bring My Paintball Markers Compressed Air Tank

A: Yes, however, we will not fill any paintball compressed air tanks that are out of date or damaged!

Do I Have to Make a Reservation in Advance to Play

A: Not for open play games; however, we strongly encourage you to make a reservation at least 24 hours in advance, so you are guaranteed entry to play and so that you and we will know what the player turnout will be for that particular day. We will do our best to accommodate any last-minute walk-ons. A: We require a minimum of 48 hours advance notice for registration and reserving a private group game.

Tips: Please check our Private Group Game Registration and Information page on our website for more detailed information.

How Long do We Play

A: Most players and groups play for 2 to 3 hours on average. It all depends on how much time your private group reserves or how long we are open for that given day.

Tips: Please check our schedule for dates and times.

How Many Paintballs Does the Average Player Use in a Day

A: On average, 700 to 1,000 paintballs. However, it all depends on the person shooting them and how intense the game modes are for that day. So, in other words, 500 paintballs may only last you 1 to 2 hours.

When is Your Paintball Field Open

A: Currently, we are open Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays during Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter for private group game reservations unless otherwise stated. Tips: Please check our website schedule or call or e-mail 24 hours in advance to make sure we will be open that day.

Is Alcohol Allowed at Your Paintball Field

A: Sorry, alcohol and paintball don’t mix! We will not check in anyone we suspect of being under the influence, and this also applies to any other controlled substances. If we see it, smell it, or suspect it, you will not be allowed to play!
